Owen Kenney-

One of the most hyped up albums has finally dropped and he initially played a snippet for instagram in 2017. According to Travis Scott the name “Astroworld” is named after a Six Flags theme park that was closed down in Houston, “They tore down AstroWorld to build more apartment space” Travis Scott explains. He also adds “I'm just finishing the saga I started on my first album.” Some artists on the album include: Kanye West, Lil Uzi, Playboi Carti, Mike Dean, Nav, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl, Sheck Wes, Gunna, Wheezy and 21 Savage. The album made top charts on Apple Music and most of his songs are still in the Top 10. Some of the fan favorites of his are “SKELETONS” “SICKO MODE” and “NC-17” It got a 95% rating on Apple Music. You can buy the album for $13. Or if you have a Spotify premium you can get it for free. I have listened to it a lot. My favorite songs are NC-17 and Sicko Mode. NC-17 isn’t his most popular song so most people don’t really think of it but I enjoy it because of the beat and he raps fast. All the songs in order on his album go StarGazing, Stop Trying to Be God, 5% TNT, Carousel, No Bystanders, NC-17, Sicko Mode, Skeletons, Astro Thunder, R.I.P Screw, Wake Up, Yosemite. 21 Savage explains he does not like working with others but working with Drake and working with Travis Scott has helped him developer his music. His verse in NC-17 is also a little longer than it usually is. Another large achievement and one of his first is performing September 2017 at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with Quavo “That’s my mission man,” says Travis Scott, his whole goal is to put good music out for the fans and bring some good shows. At one of the shows you can hear Travis Scott yell out ad-libs such as “It’s lit”! Travis Scott seems driven by a sense that he’s underappreciated, and it is his motivation for him to keep on going. His next concert is in the upcoming Rolling Loud tour which includes: Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, Kevin Gates, Joey Bada$$, Pusha T, Travis Scott, E-40, Young Thug, $uicideboy$, Rich the Kid, Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil Baby, Jaden Smith, Iamsu!, Vic Mensa, Saweetie, Pouya, wifisfuneral, Fat Nick, Plo, Buddy, Cousin Stizz, Kamaiyah, Berner, Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd, Chief Keef, Famous Dex, Gunna, Mozzy, Blocboy JB, Sheck Wes, Killy, Cuban Doll, Peewee Longway, Larry June, and YUNG BANS. I would really try to go, but sadly it is not in my state. I listen to most of those rappers and it would be a once in a lifetime experience. I really recommend if you do not listen to Travis Scott already you give it a try he has so many different songs anybody could like, whether you like a laid back song or a song to play right before a game. Just gotta find which one is for you.

3rd Year In Journalism

I love to write and I had a great time in my first year. It helped with my communication skills and writing skills.

I really like writing and I love to play volleyball, soccer, and tennis.

The hardest thing I'm doing now is applying for colleges and figuring out my future.

The 2018-19 Movement Staff is proud to announce the completion of our first newspaper of the year! This year we have also taken the initiative to move the paper to the online service you are currently using. With these great accomplishments, we also thought it would be beneficial that we, as a staff introduce each other to you.
